My Grades refers to the on-line, automated tool that allows
users to access their personal grade report for a specific
semester. This
tool is made available through the CMU Portal. This help guide offers an overview in utilizing this tool.
Locating the My Grades Screen
- From within the CMU Portal, click the
Academics link in the top navigation menu [Figure 1].

- Locate the My Records and Registration section and click the My Grades link [Figure 2].

Grade Report Options
- You will be given the option to select the
Academic Year, Term, and Level for
your grade report [Figure 3: See
arrows labeled "Year," "Term," and "Level"].
- After making your selections, click Submit [Figure 3: See
arrow labeled "Submit"].

- A grade report for the criteria you selected will appear.
A sample grade report is displayed in Figure 4.

Personalized Grades
For security purposes, the default view of your grade report does
not display your name and address.
At the bottom of your screen, however, a personalized grades
button
is made available [Figure 5].
This feature allows your name and address to be displayed. This is helpful
should you ever need a printed copy of your grade report. To have your name and address displayed:

Enter your global ID password in the input box.
- Click the Personalized Grades button.
You may also choose to click the menu button [Figure
5: See arrow labeled "Return to Options"] to
return to the
My My Grades Options screen [Figure
3].

Returning to the CMU Portal
To return to the CMU Portal, we encourage
you to close all open My Grades and Grade Report
windows. Next, select any of
the options displayed in the left or top navigation of the CMU
Portal. Please do not use your browser's back button.
