Student Clearinghouse

Student Clearinghouse refers to a web site currently managed by the National Student Clearinghouse organization. The CMU Portal offers a direct link to this web site that automatically logs you in to your account. Once logged-in to the Student Clearinghouse web site, you can access your records and information. This help guide offers an overview in doing this.

Locating the Student Clearing House Web Site

  • From within the CMU Portal, click the Academics link in the top navigation menu [Figure 1].

  • Under the My Records and Registration section, click the Student Clearinghouse Record link [Figure 2].
  • Clicking this link will direct you outside the CMU Portal. You will be automatically logged-in to the official National Student Clearinghouse web site (www.studentclearinghouse.org). From within this web site, you will be allowed access to your records and information.

Returning to the CMU Portal

To return to the CMU Portal, we encourage you to close any open Student Clearinghouse windows. Next, select any of the options displayed in the left or top navigation of the CMU Portal. Please do not use your browser's back button.
